Cafe Ems is a Greek-fusion cafe located in the heart of Kennett Square, PA. We offer a fusion menu of traditional and modern Greek cuisine, paired with a full coffee bar, smoothies, fresh juices, Greek sweets, and classic cafe fare. Role Description This is a flexible position, on-site role for a barista. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, taking customer orders, engaging with and making customers feel welcomed, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, properly operating coffee machine and equipment, promoting a safe and healthy work environment by following proper procedure, and delivering excellent customer service. The Barista will work closely with other staff to ensure efficient and timely service. The position is located in Kennett Square, PA. Pay varies with experience*** Earning potential up to $15-$17+. Qualifications

• Morning availability is REQUIRED for this position! Our hours are 7am-7pm MON-SAT, 8AM-6PM SUN
• Experience as a barista and knowledge of coffee preparation preferred, not required
• Self-driven/ dedicated mentality
• Interpersonal Skills, Communication, and Customer Service skills
• Food Preparation and Basic Math skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to work under pressure & as a TEAM (including building relationships with customers)
• Weekend availability and reliable transport to work are required for this position

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Available to work: early morning
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Preferred qualifications:

• 16 years or older
• At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
