Job Title: Bookkeeper – In-Person

Location: Murrieta, CA (In-Person Only)

Compensation: $18–$24/hour DOE

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hrs/week)

Summary

We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing financial services firm in  Murrieta, CA . This is a full-time, in-person role for someone who loves clean records, clear processes, and helping small business owners stay financially organized.

You’ll handle day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients across different industries using  QuickBooks Online . If you’re process-driven, like working with numbers, and want to grow with a stable team—this might be your perfect next step.

Responsibilities

• Record transactions accurately and consistently using QuickBooks Online
• Categorize expenses, manage receipts, and reconcile bank/credit card accounts
• Maintain clean, organized financial records for each client
• Assist with month-end close and preparation of reports
• Communicate with clients (or client managers) to request missing info
• Stay on top of tasks using systems like Dropbox and Slack
• Support occasional cleanup or catch-up projects when needed

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
• Ability to work in person Monday–Friday in Murrieta, CA
• Willingness to learn and follow clear systems and checklists

Bonus Points For:

• Experience working in a firm or agency setting (multiple clients)
• Familiarity with Dropbox, Slack, or other task/project tools
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles or prior coursework
