Overview This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: AL, AR, CT, DE, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, NC, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, UT, VA, VT, WV. May consider other markets for highly qualified candidate. This position is responsible for supporting the First Line of Defense (FLOD) Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Program. This role provides effective support and collaborates between internal relationships with business units and regions in developing goals, strategies, and performance management to meet the Bank's CRA goals and objectives. Responsibilities CRA Review and Rationale Write-Up : Interrupt CRA regulations to review potential community development activities and prepare rationale write-ups that accurately reflect the Bank's activities and impact on communities including verification and cataloguing of necessary documentation. Analysis : Conduct analysis and evaluate the effectiveness of CRA programs and provide recommendations for improvements. Volunteer events : Provide support and coordinate volunteer event opportunities specific to CRA/Community Development while ensuring adequate coverage. Plan and execute on volunteer appreciation events and activities. Support : Serve as a primary point of contact for employees addressing questions and concerns. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to volunteer management. Engage in other duties as assigned, such as supporting the annual Assessment Area delineation or Public File maintenance. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in community reinvestment, program management OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in community reinvestment, program management Preferred: 3 years experience in Community Reinvestment Act capacity (1st, 2nd, or 3rd Line of Defense) Experience in Volunteer Management, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) program compliance and examination Experience at a FDIC regulated financial institution or experience as an Examiner Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidance Strong critical thinking skills Strong attention to detail Benefits are an integral part of total rewards and First Citizens Bank is committed to providing a competitive, thoughtfully designed and quality benefits program to meet the needs of our associates.
