About the Role: The Credentialing Specialist supports the Compliance Department by validating new and existing customers to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies. The Compliance Department functions as an objective entity focused on preventing fraud and misuse of company products and services by extensively evaluating all customer applications. This is a remote position that is based in Pittsburgh, PA. This role may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management. What You'll Do: Ensure all applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies are being followed. Thoroughly investigate and prepare detailed reports on all applications prior to granting access to company services. Report all findings of non-compliant activities to Management. Confer with Management about compliance and regulatory matters when they arise. Maintain current knowledge of existing and emerging regulations as well as company policies and procedures. May conduct end user compliance reviews, which includes communicating with end users via e-mail and phone, to ensure they had a permissible purpose under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and/or permitted use under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act to order certain company products and/or services. May also perform recredentialing on existing end users to ensure no substantive changes have occurred that would result in access revocation and all required contracts, and any other additional supporting documentation is current and fully executed. Other duties as assigned. What You'll Need: High school diploma or equivalent required. College coursework is desirable. Ability to multi-task. Strong work ethic. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Technical aptitude (ability to work with various computer applications). Computer skills (Word processing, spreadsheets, email, internet research).
