Silicon Valley International School is seeking a qualified Preschool Teaching Assistant (Learning Assistant) to join the Early Years Program for the academic year 2025-26.
As a Learning Assistant at INTL, you will work closely with our international group of teachers to support early years students. Your primary responsibility is to the safety and social-emotional well-being of our students. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package, competitive pay commensurate with years of experience, and generous paid time off.The Learning Assistant works within the framework of the job description and assignment and makes decisions only within that framework.
Learning Assistants are required to maintain certifications as required by the school and/or Social Services and keep all relevant certifications current.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position that pays hourly and includes comprehensive benefits. Your supervisor will be the Director of Licensing and Enrichment Support. Depending on your relevant work experience and educational attainment, the hourly rate of pay is based on an annual wage ranging from (CO-1) $62,553.00 to (CO-20+) $84,281.00.Learning Assistants are expected to:

During summer care and mini-camp, learning assistants are considered camp counselors. They are expected to plan and implement activities under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Licensing and Enrichment Support, who will provide a theme for the camps and help to organize planning. The learning assistant [or camp counselor] can use the available time the week before the mini-camp for planning and preparation. Time will be given in the summer care schedule to allow for weekly planning and preparation.
