Job Description
A well-established rheumatology clinic in Los Angeles is seeking a reliable, motivated, and bilingual (English/Spanish) entry-level Medical Assistant to join our dedicated care team. The successful candidate will work alongside other experienced medical assistants to provide exceptional patient support and efficient clinical operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist with back office duties : rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting with joint injections.
Perform light medical data entry and accurately update electronic health records (EHR).
Support providers with minor procedures and other tasks as assigned
Maintain exam room cleanliness, inventory, and equipment preparation
Translate for Spanish-speaking patients as needed
Collaborate effectively with other medical assistants and clinic staff to ensure a smooth workflow
Qualifications:
Completion of the Medical Assistant program .
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Reliable, motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and a patient-focused attitude.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and the team.
Good typing skills.
