Job Description

Our client is seeking a Laborer / Driver Helper to join their team. As a Laborer / Driver Helper, you will be part of a dedicated group supporting the collection of clothing donations throughout Orlando. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to adapt to changing environments, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laborer / Driver Helper

Location: Eatonville, Florida

Pay Range: $17/hour

Schedule:

• Monday - Thurs (some Fridays)
• 4:00am until finished
• Typically a 10 to 12 hour day
• 40-45 hour work week

What's the Job?

• Initially function as a ride-along helper. After the client hires you directly, you will then be driving assigned box truck.
• Assist in the collection of donation bags from over 130 clothing drop boxes throughout Orlando.
• Load and unload bags into and from a 24' box truck.
• Occasionally operate hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment during all operations.

What's Needed?

• Prior experience driving a box truck (preferred or willing to learn).
• Ability to climb in and out of a 24' box truck.
• Ability to work in the elements.
• Capability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Valid Florida Driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and drug screening.
