About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Business Development with a strong background in consulting services, particularly in the areas of manufacturing and operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with the critical role of initiating, qualifying, and converting leads to create new business opportunities and drive sales. This includes managing both new and existing client partnerships to capture market share and deploying targeted commercial strategies to meet revenue targets. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in selling consulting services, the ability to operate at the C-level, and a deep understanding of the executive service market. Applicants for the Managing Director position must have a Master's degree or equivalent, and a history of working in business development within the consulting industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in selling consulting services in the $2-$5 million range, be a self-starter, and possess the ability to work with high independence. Experience in analysis and/or delivery of consulting services is also essential. The role requires a professional who can create and deploy go-to-market strategies, develop compelling propositions, and is adept at managing expectations at the CEO and Board Room level. The company values individuals who can draw on existing networks and contacts and is open to considering candidates who have previously held CEO or company President positions and are looking to leverage their network in a business development role.
