Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized   Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our Marketing Team. This hybrid role is perfect for an enthusiastic individual eager to gain hands-on experience in both marketing and event coordination within a fast-paced, national organization.  

Key Responsibilities:

Event Coordination (60%)

  • Plan and Execute Events: Assist in organizing industry tradeshows, partner events, and internal conferences, including our Annual PuroClean Conference.
  • Logistics Management: Coordinate event logistics such as venue booking, catering, signage, AV requirements, and on-site support.
  • Timeline and Budget Tracking: Monitor event timelines, manage action item logs, and ensure events are delivered within budget.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure brand consistency and event excellence.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Gather feedback, analyze event performance, and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Marketing Support (40%)

  • Digital Presence Management: Assist in maintaining and updating local Google My Business profiles, LinkedIn company pages, and Facebook accounts across the network.
  • Content Creation: Help prepare marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Campaign Support: Aid in the execution of national marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Association Engagement: Coordinate relationships and membership renewals with industry associations.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and support internal reporting using tools like HubSpot and Google Analytics.

Qualifications:

Education: Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.

Experience: 1–2 years in a marketing or event support role (internships included).

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, Google Analytics, and HubSpot is an asset.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
