Job Description

Our client, a leader in the poultry industry, is seeking a QA Manager to join their team. As a QA Manager, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the overall food safety and quality goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Manager

Location: Dudley, NC

Pay Range: Up to $90,000

What's the Job?

• Manage all activities of the Quality Assurance department to ensure consistent product quality and safety results.
• Develop, document, and implement quality processes and procedures to maintain product safety and quality.
• Lead all quality, food safety, and regulatory efforts at the plant.
• Enforce food safety standards and maintain required documentation for compliance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members to achieve organizational goals.

What's Needed?

• BS Degree or higher in Poultry, Meat, or Food Science.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a HACCP, QA, or Food Safety supervisory role.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience in further processing is required.
• HACCP Certified with strong regulatory skills.
