The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of data center development projects. This is a critical leadership role responsible for site planning, entitlements, design coordination, and supporting construction execution. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-impact, scalable infrastructure in one of the most competitive data markets globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end development of new data center sites, including land acquisition due diligence, zoning, permitting, and design.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, construction, legal, finance, operations).
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and external consultants.
• Serve as a key stakeholder in site selection, infrastructure planning, and risk management.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities, utilities, and community stakeholders.
• Drive sustainability and innovation initiatives throughout the development process.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on data centers, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Deep knowledge of land use planning, entitlement processes, and local permitting in Virginia.
• Proven track record managing complex development projects from conception to delivery.
• Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, civil engineering, architecture, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
