Robotics Integration Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES: Software - Know how to use git repository and install test SW and or restore the robot after use from teams
- Will need to be able to sort through code to help with trouble shooting in
- Will need to be comfortable with ssh and linux
- Keep up-to date with the latest stable releases from the SW team
- Maintain a strong understanding of System architecture
- Will need to know how to bring Dev PCs online
Hardware - Will need to be able to read mechanical and electrical diagrams
- Will need to trouble shoot robots and mechatronics systems when having physical problems
- Will need to preform Mechanical, Electronic, Motion control and Power systems maintenance and integration
- Need to be able to change and work with actuators and sensors
Field Service - Will need to have a habit of documenting the unknown to make things easier for people to learn from what was tried and worked
- Will be in-touch and at times working closely with both the hardware team and the software team
- Will need to travel to other sites to install retrofits to robots for testing (30-50%).
REQUIRED SKILLS: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Strong mechatronics background
- Hardware integration expertise
- Basic-to-intermediate coding skills
- Basic knowledge of how Docker (docker compose) works and knowledge of bash (basics at least)
- Excellent diagnostic abilities
- Clear communication style

- Basic understanding of networking
- Basic understanding of camera arrays
Salary Range: $75,000-90,000 The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
