An appliance company is seeking a Sales Assistant to join their team in Gardena, CA . This position is responsible for supporting the sales team . An AA degree or higher, data entry/administrative support experience, and proficiency in Excel and PC skills (Microsoft Office) are required. This is a full-time, in-person, non-exempt position, with bonus, excellent benefits and 401k.
Sales Assistant Duties:
-Processes sales data (data entry + Excel) and generates reports
-Utilizes EDI and BC365 systems as needed
-Receives, processes, and confirms orders
-Prepares quotations and sends them to customers
-Troubleshoots customer issues as they arise
-Monitors past due accounts
-Enters sales and profit data per customer/product
-Communicates with customers via phone, fax, and email
-Handles questions, requests, and claims; Provides sales order status updates
-Performs other necessary sales support functions
Sales Assistant Skills:
-Must have an AA degree or higher
-Must have data entry/administrative support experience
-Must be proficient in Excel and PC skills (Microsoft Office)
-Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
