Job Description

Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Third Shift Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Third Shift Assembly Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the assembly of drive train components. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Third Shift Assembly Technician

Location: Columbia, MO

Pay Range: $17 per hour

What's the Job?

• Assemble parts in specified relationships using mechanical and electrical tools.
• Operate overhead cranes and hoists to facilitate assembly tasks.
• Weld various drive train components for final assembly.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor quality and report any defective materials or unsafe conditions.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to different workstations.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
