About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and versatile UI/UX Designer with a strong foundation in marketing to help shape our brand’s visual identity across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both digital and print design, understands user experience principles, and has a keen eye for illustration and typography. Key Responsibilities

· Design engaging website layouts, landing pages, and digital interfaces that prioritize user experience and brand consistency.

· Develop visually compelling social media posts, online ads, and marketing collateral to support campaigns.

· Create print assets such as brochures, flyers, and event materials.

· Ensure brand consistency across all platforms with strong typography, color theory, and composition skills.

· Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align designs with strategic goals.

· Translate complex ideas into intuitive, user-friendly designs.

· (Bonus) Contribute to storyboarding and video editing for marketing or product-related content.

Required Skills & Experience [MA1] 

· 3+ years of marketing design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD) and Figma.

· Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, wireframing, and responsive design.

· Experience creating print materials and digital ads for marketing campaigns.

· Excellent grasp of typography, color theory, and layout design.

· Ability to take creative direction and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.

· MS Office

· Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless implementation of UI designs, providing design specifications and assets as needed."

Nice-to-Have Skills

· Illustration skills for custom graphics and brand storytelling.

· Storyboarding and video editing experience (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar).

· Experience with Marketing tools such as Salesforce and Hootsuite.

· Knowledge of HTML/CSS for design implementation.

Success Criteria

Success in this role will be measured by the ability to effectively collaborate across departments, ensuring that design solutions align with marketing objectives, brand identity, and user needs. A successful UI/UX designer will proactively engage with marketing, product, and development teams to gather insights , iterate on feedback, and create cohesive, high-impact visuals. Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless implementation of UI designs, providing design specifications and assets as needed. Clear communication, openness to feedback, and the ability to balance creative vision with strategic goals will be key indicators of success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project ownership, delivering designs that not only enhance user experience but also drive engagement and conversions across multiple channels.

· Position Type and Expected Hours of Work   

o This is a full-time position located in Portland, OR. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. or as scheduled with the employee’s supervisor.
