Values: Curious & Creative Hungry For Food & Results Entrepreneurial Forward Thinking & Flexible Supportive (Of Peers & Chefs) Position Summary Lead night warehouse operations and personnel for safe and efficient preparation of product for delivery to customers the following day. Assist the first line supervisor in directing associates to achieve accurate orders that are then staged and loaded on the trucks. Assist in overseeing the preparation of the warehouse for receiving the next day. What you’ll do: Monitor operational information, such as "mispicks" and productivity reports, to ensure rates and methods are followed. Inspect the facility for safety hazards and resolve or report them; maintain warehouse condition and equipment; ensure cleanliness and compliance with NSF standards. Work with Night Shift Supervisor to identify inventory shrink sources and develop action plans. Establish and monitor security procedures to safeguard warehouse operations and contents. Maintain warehouse condition, inspect equipment, and manage repairs and replacements. Assist with employee scheduling, workload management, and ensure correct completion of tasks. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety requirements. Cover other warehouse areas as needed and oversee night operations in the absence of the night supervisor. Coach, counsel, discipline, and evaluate warehouse staff performance. About you: Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and customer service skills. Decision-making, problem-solving, prioritization, and workforce management skills in a dynamic warehouse environment. Experience with process improvement and inventory control best practices. Ability to motivate and engage staff in company objectives. Knowledge of inventory control, OSHA, HACCP, and other regulations.
