Group Benefits Senior Customer Service Representative

Joseph M. Wiedemann and Sons, Inc. is currently recruiting a Group Benefits Senior Customer Service Representative to join our team in Arlington Heights, IL. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional service to our valued clients and ensuring seamless operations within our group benefits department.

Responsibilities:

As a Group Benefits Senior Customer Service Representative, your duties will involve providing day-to-day support to the Benefits Department Service team. This includes tasks such as data entry, service and sales support, as well as various administrative responsibilities. You will also be responsible for handling client service calls, benefits enrollments, and communicating with carriers. Managing our online client service portal, assisting clients with claims and policy inquiries, and offering expert guidance on benefit offerings are also part of your role. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies will be essential.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required
• Two-year associate or some college preferred
• 1-2 years of benefit agency experience
• Some experience with Applied Epic
• Some experience with EASE or Employee Navigator
• Excellent time management, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of self-motivation and self-direction
• State of Illinois Life & Health Insurance Producer license preferred or must become Life & Health Insurance licensed within 6 months of hire

Salary Range: $25 - $30/per hour (non-exempt)
